Our Team
Matthew C. White
MBA, CFP®, CPA, Principal
Matthew White is the President and Founder of White & Company. Before opening White & Co., Matthew worked in the insurance and banking sectors at some of the world’s most prestigious financial institutions. During that time, he acted as a consultant to the firm’s top financial advisers.
Through those experiences, Matthew learned that he finds great fulfillment in adding value to partnerships with other business professionals and clients.
Matthew has a BA in Economics from UCI, an MBA in Financial Planning from California Lutheran, is a Certified Financial Planner and Certified Public Accountant, and is currently in the process of earning his law degree.
Daniela Salgado
Manager
Daniela is an experienced tax preparer pursuing her Enrolled Agent’s license. Before joining White & Co., she held roles in management as well as the legal field.
Daniela finds it satisfying to bring peace of mind to clients by building a trustworthy relationship with their financials and allowing them to focus on their professional growth.
Because of the wonderful White & Co. team, Daniela looks forward to coming to work every morning with a smile on her face.
Outside the office, Daniela enjoys spending time with her children, Myah and Lucas. She also enjoys quiet time with God, outdoor activities such as biking, kayaking, fishing and swimming, and ending each day with a nice meal.
Alyssa Di Donato
Manager
Alyssa earned her degree in Economics from the University of California, Riverside.
Alyssa loves working at White & Co. because she appreciates all the opportunities for learning and growth that her job brings, and she finds it rewarding to help clients during an otherwise stressful time of year.
Alyssa’s love of cooking shows has inspired her to try all the top rated restaurants in the area. In addition, she likes to read fashion blogs to keep up with current trends, spend time with family and friends, and watch sports — especially soccer and hockey.
Jackie Lacerda
Operations Coordinator
Jackie is a Notary Public and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration from Southern States University, Irvine Campus.
There are a number of things she enjoys while working at White & Co CPAs, such as: problem solving and the opportunity to interact with the team to meet high performance and deliver an effective customer service to clients in order to build a strong relationship. Jackie also appreciates the opportunity to welcome new business onboard and work as a team to grow the company.
Outside the office, Jackie enjoys attending concerts and movies, spending time with her family, son, and friends; however, she loves to be outdoors – so hiking, backpacking, biking, are at the top of the list.
Jackie wants to keep improving her career and she soon she will be announcing some exciting news!
Tuyen Nguyen
CPA, Manager
Tuyen graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from UC Irvine. He is certified as a CPA since 2020 and has more than five years of experience in bookkeeping and tax accounting.
Tuyen enjoys analyzing and solving tax problems by crunching the numbers and researching tax cases. He loves the work environment because he feels appreciated and understands that his work affects the company overall.
When he’s not crunching numbers, Tuyen enjoys reading light novels and works of fiction, hiking around Orange County, trying foods from different cultures, and gaming.
Lyndsay Jackson
Senior Office Manager
Before joining White & Co., Lyndsay worked in a corporate environment, assisting with all ancillary tasks that helped keep the business moving forward.
Lyndsay finds it rewarding that White & Co. handles all accounting, payroll, tax, and financials, which allows business owners to focus their time and energy on building their business. She says, “It’s rewarding that we can connect to clients and build their trust in us to assist with financial matters.”
In her personal time, Lyndsay likes to practice cooking and learn new techniques. She also enjoys collecting vinyl records and playing them while cooking and entertaining guests.
Patrick White
MBA, CFP®, Senior Staff Accountant
Patrick earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from California State University of Fullerton. He also earned his MBA at California Lutheran University.
Prior to entering the accounting world, Patrick worked in the private client sector of one of the top financial institutions in America. It was there that he earned his Certified Financial Planner designation and used his knowledge to guide clients to a more secure future.
Patrick uses his excellent customer service skills when assisting clients with their tax and accounting needs, in order to build stronger client relationships, which positively impacts the business.
In Patrick’s free time, you can find him in the gym, indoor rock climbing, and hiking with his pup Molly.
Chad Anderson
CPA, Senior Staff Accountant
Chad earned his degree in Business Finance from California State University Long Beach.
He started out his career in banking and later found his passion for helping others with accounting and tax issues. Now with a background in both banking and public accounting, Chad brings a diverse perspective to addressing client issues.
Chad enjoys working at White & Co. because he gets to assists clients with a wide variety of business needs. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing video games, riding his dirt bike in the mountains, and watching cooking shows with his wife and dog.
Cynthia Franklin
Staff Accountant
Cynthia has over 24 years as a reliable Payroll / Human Resources professional. Studies include completion of UC Irvine Human Resources Management Certification and KASET International Program – Achieving Extraordinary Customer Relations Skills and Strategies.
Cynthia assists with payroll and tax filing and other tasks as necessary. She is committed to meeting and exceeding customer service expectations.
When she is not working with White & Co, Cynthia enjoys giving back to the community where she grew up in South Central Los Angeles area by donating her time with varies community outreach programs. She also enjoys bowling, watching movies, and spending time with family.
Ava Dang
Staff Accountant
Ava earned her degree in Business of Commerce from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, AU and her MA degree in International Trade and Finance from Leeds Beckett University, UK.
Ava has over 10 years working in real estate and travel industry. She loves dealing with numbers and solving problems. She feels rewarded when knowing her work brings benefits to clients. Joining White & Co. team is a new path in her career. Ava is excited to challenge herself with a new role as an accountant.
Ava is inspired daily by her husband and son. In her free time, Ava likes reading books, playing puzzles and hiking. Ava especially loves traveling and exploring new places. Her bucket list is overflowing with new destinations to travel to.
Anh Mai
Staff Accountant
Anh earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California State University at Fullerton. She is pursuing her license as Certified Public Accountant.
Anh finds it an honor being a part of a professional and qualified team. Here at White & Co. CPAs, she is equipped with all the tools necessary to be able to provide the best services to clients.
Besides spending quality time with her family, Anh enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. She’d like to maintain an active lifestyle as it positively impacts people’s ability to cope with stress.
Nhat Nguyen
Staff Accountant - Accounts Receivable
Nhat earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the International University – VNU – Vietnam.
Nhat has several years’ experience working in office settings, most recently as a Data Entry Clerk. This experience has helped her with attention to detail and perfecting her accuracy. Joining White & Co. CPAs is a new direction in her career path, and she is excited to learn new things and take advantage of the growth opportunities offered by White & Co. CPAs. Nhat also loves to interact with the team and help provide good customer service to clients.
In her free time, Nhat loves hiking in new places, drawing, and spending time with her family.
Courtney Gail
Office Manager
Courtney brings over 15 years of administrative experience in Client Services roles and Office Management, and has been a Notary Public for the past two years. Courtney spent the last three years as a legal assistant working in an estate planning firm. Courtney has developed a compassion for helping people with their specific wishes and protecting their assets and their specific needs.
She assists the firm’s staff in the day to day operations, ensuring that the staff has the support they need for the office to run most efficiently.
Courtney was born in Newport Beach and is currently raising her family in Orange County, California. In her spare time, she loves crafting, reading and going on adventures with her family. Her favorite thing to do is exploring the beaches of Southern California’s beautiful coast with her husband and daughter.
